News: Duel Decks- Sorin vs Tibalt Announced!
In case you missed it, the mothership announced next March’s Duel Decks release, and it pits two of the planeswalkers of Innistrad against one another!
With Duel Decks: Sorin vs Tibalt we have the exciting prospect of a Black/White deck against a mono-Red one, and though previous Red decks have been a bit hit-or-miss, it will be interesting to see what Wizards can cook up with the game’s only two-drop planeswalker! Head on over and check it out.

Another mono-red deck. Could Sorin will be interesting no matter what. Sort of mixed feelings, but VvK was quite interesting and I wasn’t originally looking forward it.
I’ll still get 2 of ’em, assuming they aren’t priced insanely. Even then, I’m sure I can find them at Wal-mart for retail.

Well, since I’m buying all duel decks, I will most likely pick up this one as well. I really hope the decks are playable. I didn’t enjoy Venser vs Koth that much though and that was mainly because of the Koth deck (mono red is quite boring sometimes). Same with Knights vs Dragons, I expected more of the red deck. So, Wizards, please make this one a little bit more interesting.
I think we’re getting burned out of mono-red. PDS:F&L, Koth, Dragons, Chandra (before my time), and that’s just the Duel Decks and PDS. I get they only have so many walkers, but Sorin (BW) vs Tezzy (BU) might have been interesting take on duel decks. Common color taken totally different ways.
Well, if it’s true that Sorin is BW and its deck too, already sold… Buuut, if he’s mono black, well, i would have to see the decklists, because i don’t like Tibalt too much. Anyway, duel decks are always awesome products for its price, specially to people who play casual.
I just figure it’s going to be like the last few. There are going to be stuff in there that I’ll want for EDH, even if I don’t care too much for the rest.
Well if its Innistrad based the only other planeswalkers he could have fought were Lili(possible), Garruk(not really since based on what I have seen was being healed by Avacyn), or Tamiyo(and she doesnt seem bad). I would enjoy maybe if it was Sorin vs Dack Fayden especially if from his story, he was there in Innistrad and a thief possibly stealing from the Markov manor
especially if Dack Fayden turned out to be Red/Blue
have people seen the deck lists on gatheringmagic?
