I love The Eternities Map idea. This article was a great read, because I had forgotten about the map. Need to print out some proxies for the planes, half size I reckon. Make a nice map.

And if you’re wondering where to find some old pre-con decks, I picked up a few on ebay today. I thought they were a pretty good deal. And, no, I’m not affiliated with this vendor in any way. I just thought 5 bucks for an old sealed pre-con was pretty good. They combine shipping cost if you buy more than one. Go to: http://shop.ebay.com/thegameacademyonline/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686

Ertai, if this is considered blatant advertising or is in poor form, then please delete this post. I was just wanting others to be able to get in on the action.

      Hey Steve-

Actually, I don’t mind a bit. In fact, even if you were affiliated with the seller, I wouldn’t mind overmuch if you had low prices on your wares!

My “magic price” for a non-premium precon is $5 shipped. I’ll go to $5 unshipped here and there, but as you’re finding if you play a patient game you can get a lot for very little.

      Thanks for sharing!

Wow. I gues I’m not as patient as you are. I didn’t realize you could find them that cheap! Oh well, I’m committed now. But I am excited to get these pre-cons because they introduce mechanics and cards that I have never been exposed to. I guess the good thing about stepping away from Magic for so long is that everything has a brand new appeal to me. Every time I see a card, it’s exciting and new. So buying old pre-cons for 10 bucks to me is like paying what I would have when they first came out and still just as exciting. Good times!
